"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God." Romans 1:1
I set out to read Romans 1 today,
and I never got to verse 2.
Here's the sermon in three words...
Paul-- Called; Separated.

Just to set the record straight, I do like taking pictures.
The reason I don't call myself a photographer is because I lack in the hardware dept.
But every once in a while, some friend puts their Canon (sorry guys) strap around my neck, and I go to town...

I love the pictures :) Did you happen to take all of those?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! You should sign up as a DBD photographer : D
ReplyDeleteHey! Nice friends! Think I know them. Maybe not?...I have to think about that!
As to the hardware problem, I can understan, Uh, to well. I was the cook without a stove for sometime. But my advice is never give up on point and shoot ( because, after all, it's the brains that really make you good not the stuff. Although the stuff helps).
And keep lookin' on eBay. There are some great 40's on there for not to much gold:D
And if you get one them big things let me know. I'll make it worth you truble: D
@Kitten: I did. Every one. :)
ReplyDelete@Emily: Oh, one of these days. :D Trouble is I am a video man, so I have to aim high to get 1080p. :)
Oh, I see. Well if you get so much money that you don't know what to do with, let me kno and I'll help you find one:D
ReplyDeleteset apart... I guess we don't need to wonder why life is the way it is sometimes then.
ReplyDeleteI figured out the logo...but from the other picture. So you can keep the 10 cents. :)
Whoo Hoo! It's good to see some long lost IN friends and yourselves of course. Greetings from NY. Appreciate the post. 3 words- edifying and challenging.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how a simple phrase or verse can take on so much meaning? It reminds of what Ellen White wrote about it being better to read one verse and truly understand it than to peruse pages with no particular aim or deep understanding (my paraphrase). Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat second line, Sean! (...never got to verse 2)
ReplyDeleteOne of those that give you a tickling feeling because of the depth of its implication! I love stuff like that!
Enjoyed the photojournalism, too :-)
I like the photos,
ReplyDeletedid you get a new camera?
Go Canon!! :P ;)
ReplyDelete@Richard: :D Right. Now remind me to shoot in RAW next time so I can actually do something with the photos...
ReplyDelete@William: No, the camera belongs to a friend. :)
Seriously, you took those pictures? Wow! And you still think you aren't a photographer? Hmm... lol
